The EcoGrowMedia Houseplant Chunky Mix Kit is a peat-free DIY soil blend designed for aroids and other houseplants that need excellent airflow and drainage.
All ingredients are pre-measured — just hydrate, mix, and pot.

🌿 What’s inside (pre-measured)

• Orchid / Potting Bark (5–15mm) — 4L

• Coarse Perlite (2–5mm) — 2.5L

• Coco Chips (8–18mm) — 2L

• Charcoal / Biochar (5–12mm) — 0.5L

• Coco Coir (dry portion) — ~110g (hydrates to ~1L)

✅ Makes approximately 10L of chunky peat-free mix

🪴 How to use (simple & quick)

Step 1 – Hydrate the coir
Add ~400–500ml water to the coir portion.
Wait 10 minutes, fluff, and add a splash more if needed (damp, not dripping).

Step 2 – Mix everything
Combine all ingredients in a bucket or tub:

• 4L bark

• 2.5L perlite

• 2L coco chips

• 0.5L biochar

• 1L hydrated coir

Mix well or shake in a large bag.

Step 3 – Pot up
Fill pot, place plant, backfill, tap gently, water once and let drain.
